Grilled Cheese with Guacamole Sandwich

I go to a swim meet once a week. Swim meets are incredibly long; like four hours long. The host team always sells food in the form of either pizza, burgers, hot dogs, candy or cookies. Sometimes I am stubborn about what my food and I refuse to eat out of concession stands so I stand there for hours watching event after event, relays, butterfly, boys, girls, while I starve. Last week I stood at the edge of the pool dreaming with this combo of three of my favorite things: bread, cheese and avocados. It’s pretty decadent and filling and just plain good. Don’t need to save this for swim days only – eat any time, all the time!

I love avocados and especially guacamole. Here’s the recipe I made this week for Taco Tuesday: http://sweetseatstreats.wordpress.com/2014/07/23/garlicky-guacamole/#more-277
